Preparing Ourselves for God's Move

(The Acts Series - Lesson 2)

In the 2nd lesson, we look at how the people witnessed Jesus ascend to heaven and having "lost" the leader of their group, they obediently went back to Jerusalem to have a prayer meet and wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit.

All they had was Peter's command to go back to the church and Jesus' promise that the Holy Spirit will arrive. It marked the start of their 10 day wait for the Holy Spirit to arrive. They could very well have scattered and went on their way now that Jesus is not with them but the disciples remained faithful till the end.
